It’s as if you had decided to buy a business, let’s pretend it is called Lizzie’s Laundry. But, you don’t want to use the same building it was in when you bought it – you want to transfer it to some other building. So, of course at the new building you still need to pay rent and such. But anyway, you are transferring the name from the original place, to the new one.

It’s like that – you get a better deal at the new place, so you want to do business there, not at the original place. So, you transfer the name.
